Summer Living

Staying in Ann Arbor for Spring/Summer Term or looking forward to visiting campus this summer? Whether here for a few months or just a few days, there is plenty to look forward to!
There are a ton of events, both University sponsored and non-University, coming up in the months of June and July - make the most of this summer and attend as many as possible! Among popular events are the Ann Arbor Summer Festival (June 14-July 7), featuring ticketed performances of music, dance, comedy, and theater at various campus and downtown venues and the Ann Arbor Art Fair (July 17-20), which draws in over 1,000 artists and an estimated .5 million visitors over the course of the four-day event.
As always, consider the Inn at the League for any friends or family visiting you this summer! Located in the heart of Central Campus, it’s sure to be just a short walk away from all of the events happening on campus and downtown.
In addition to these events, there are a number of things happening at your Michigan Union! Dance lessons are being offered all summer long: learn ballroom, swing, or tango! Visit each link to learn more about registration and dates for lessons this summer.
You should also remember to stop by the Michigan Union’s Billiards & Games room, which is open all summer long! It’s the perfect place to take a break or hang out with friends; board games, foosball, video games (Xbox 360), pool tables, and more are at your disposal. Spring/Summer hours are Sunday - Thursday: noon - 10:30pm and Friday - Saturday: noon - 11:30 pm.
Don’t forget to stop by the Michigan Union Ticket Office to check out upcoming events and/or purchase tickets! Spring/Summer hours are Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm and Saturday: 9am - noon. Also remember to grab a bite to eat at the Union’s Summer Selections during the hustle and bustle of all these great summer events and activities! See the full menu here.
