Information you must acknowledge before placing your reservation request:
We accept reservation requests for up to six months in advance. If your reservation is more than 6 months from now, please visit this site and submit your request a little closer to the date. Except when they conflict with major events, we can accommodate most all reservation requests, so you needn't worry about not getting the space.
Click here to see standard pricing. Typically, group reservations are discounted 10-33%, depending on the day, time, and size of your group. Please note: prices go up about once every 1-2 years, typically on July 1.
The Billiards Room does not accept credit cards. Cash, Blue Bucks, Munchie Money, and local personal checks are acceptable. Payment by university account or SOAS account can be arranged with the Assistant Manager as long as the authorized signer is verified at least 3 business days prior to the reservation. For best results, place your reservation at least one week before the date of your gathering.
After you submit this form, a Manager will email you to negotiate a price and verify other details of your reservation. Once an agreement is reached, the following policies apply:
If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, your account will be charged an administrative fee of $20.
If your group does not show up, your account will be charged in full.
For transfers, there is a minimum charge of $20, even if your table time does not reach $20.
If minors will attend, there must be at least 1 adult for every 8 minors.
No outside food or beverages are allowed in the Billiards Room. Food from the vendors in the Michigan Union is acceptable, but please keep your receipt. For University Unions Catering, additional tables or chairs, or audio-visual equipment, contact Event Services:
