Within the University Unions' building walls are dynamic support services that are dedicated to making a difference in a student's experience at Michigan.
- Counseling & Psychological Services (Michigan Union)
Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) provides multicultural and multidisciplinary expert and caring therapeutic support at no charge for currently enrolled University of Michigan-Ann Arbor campus students. Staff of CAPS includes professional thereapists, psychiatric staff and interns from graduate programs in psychology and social work. Common reasons students go to CAPS include, but are not limited to:
CAPS is also engaging the University community with "Do Something," a large scale college student mental health awareness campaign which highlights both QPR (a well-received, on-going, suicide prevention training program) and MiTalk (a University of Michigan student-focused, interactive mental health website). - MCard Center/Housing Business Services (North Campus branch in Pierpont Commons)
The MCard Centers issue student ID's, handle basic MCard services and facilitate free TCF Bank Accounts, all meal plans and manage Blue Bucks accounts. Blue Bucks is a debit card service that was designed to supplement the resident meal plan, but it is also available to all registered students of the University of Michigan.

The International Center provides services and programs to UM's international community, including students, scholars, faculty, employees, and families; to UM departments and to UM community members interested in study, work or educational travel outside the United States.

- The Spectrum Center
The Spectrum Center provides a comprehensive range of education, information and advocacy services working to create and maintain an open, safe and inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students, faculty, and staff, their families and friends, and the campus community at large.

The Office of Greek Life supports the fraternity and sorority community on campus with recruitment, event planning, educational programming, social, philanthropic and logistical needs, programming ideas, problem solving and leadership development. Getting involved in the Greek community is a great way to get involved on campus while making lifelong friendships.

The Office of the Registrar handles many student issues like grade inquiries, academic reports, student ID number changes, address changes, enrollment and tuition-related questions. They also process requests for official transcripts and certification. Call the office during business hours for more information about services provided.

- Student Legal Services
Student Legal Services (SLS), a unit of The Divison of Student Affairs, is a full-service law office available to currently enrolled students at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor campus. Student Legal Services is staffed by attorneys who are licensed to practice in the State of Michigan as well as the United States District Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
