With only a couple more months of the semester left, it’s important to take time to enjoy all of the wonderful and exciting events happening right on campus and in the Union buildings. Lucky for you, we have rounded up a list of all of the must-see performances happening in March.
Impact Dance - March 10, 2017 at 7pm - Michigan League Mendelssohn Theater
Impact Dance is an entirely student-run and choreographed dance company comprised of a small group of University of Michigan students. Grab tickets for their Spring show from MUTO for only $7 for students! More info on UAC’s website.
Photonix - March 11, 2017 at 7:30pm - Michigan Union Ballroom
If you have never seen Photonix in action, you are surely missing out and one of the coolest experiences on this campus! By pairing glow sticks with string and other materials, they are able to create exciting visual art for their audiences. Tickets are $5 from MUTO and more info can be found at their Facebook event.
ComCo - March 24, 2017 at 8pm - Angell Aud A
ComCo is the University’s oldest improv comedy group! Their monthly show is sure to be just as, if not more, hilarious than the last. Follow them on Facebook to learn more about this month’s show theme.
Groove - March 31, 2017 at 7:30pm - Michigan Theater
In the mood for a high energy performance? Groove implements both traditional and non-traditional instruments, such as trash cans, to present a truly energizing show. Join them at for their performance at the end of the month and follow their Facebook page to get more info on tickets.
Rude Mechanicals - March 31-April 2 at 8pm, 2pm on April 2 - Michigan League Mendelssohn Theater
The Rude Mechanicals are a student-run theatre group that offer students the opportunity to both perform and work behind-the-scenes. Join them for their Spring performance of William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” at the end of March. More information about the show and ticket information can be found on their website.
