Beginning this summer, Barnes and Noble at Pierpont will continue to serve as a retail destination, selling apparel and merchandise, while all textbooks will be available through a new Virtual Course Materials Store. This new service will allow students to select a format for course materials that works best for them, including used, new, rental, and digital options.
How it works:
Students can simply order from the Virtual Course Materials Store by visiting umichtextbook.com. From there, select courses from your schedule, your preferred course material format, and check out. Or, look for the “View/Buy Textbooks” button in your course schedule on Wolverine Access.
Textbooks will not be delivered directly to dorms, but beginning fall term, students can choose to have textbook orders delivered on campus, for free pickup. On-campus pickup orders will be available during set distribution dates (to be announced) at Pierpont or the lower level of Shapiro Library.
A 24/7 customer contact center is available for questions or help ordering textbooks. It can be reached at 1-800-325-3252 or email@example.com.
Easy returns can be made through the Return Center under your orders on your online account.
