Campus Champs Crowned

Sunday, April 14, 2014 was the 7th Annual Campus Tournament of Champions at the University of Michigan Billiards Room.  Thirteen players, all of whom either won a qualifying series event or were extended a special invitation, vied for the TOC title.

Michigan Students Compete at Nationals

Three wolverines represented Michigan proudly at the prestigious National 9-ball Championships, presented annually since 1937 by the Association of College Unions International (ACUI).  Winstone Seow, Kevin Hsiao, and Paul Min qualified at various regional events for an invitation to this event, held at Arizona State University on June 28-30.

All three Michigan students were recognized by their peers with votes in the Sportsmanship balloting, and Winstone finished respectably in 9th-12th place in a very talented field of amateur players.

2013 Campus Pool Championship

Fifteen students - all but one who were eligible - participated in the University of Michigan Campus Championships (TOC) on Sunday, April 7.  This is the best turnout in the 6-year history of the TOC...remarkable, considering that just hours before, most students celebrated into the wee hours of the morning after the Michigan basketball team defeated Syracuse to advance to the National Championship game for the first time in over two decades.
