At Pierpont Commons, you'll find a Barnes & Noble Bookstore and U-go's convenience store, which together carry most of the essentials needed in daily campus life including school supplies, food, personal conveniences and more! The Computer Showcase offers computer accessories and repair help so you can get your computer issues resolved right on campus. In addition, banking assistance is easily accessible.
Student services including the North Campus Information Center, Office of Financial Aid, Office of the Registrar, International Center and the U-M Police Department are all located in Pierpont to ensure you're well taken care of during your time on campus.
For the convenience of students and faculty, University Unions provides comprehensive campus information at the Campus Information Centers, located at the Michigan Union and Pierpont Commons, as well as the Information Desk within the Michigan League.

How you will pay for your education is an important part of deciding which college you will attend. The Office of Financial Aid at the University of Michigan understands that you and your family have been planning a lifetime for your college career.
The Office of the Registrar handles many student issues like grade inquiries, academic reports, student ID number changes, address changes, enrollment and tuition-related questions. They also process requests for official transcripts and certification. Call the office during business hours for more information about services provided.
There are several conveniently located centers where faculty and staff complete the I-9 process. On North Campus, the office is located on the lower level of Pierpont Commons. On central, there's an office in the Student Activities Building.
Faculty and staff may go to a Regional I-9 Center without an appointment and receive prompt service.
Assists organizations with financial activities. A SORC representative is available at Pierpont Commons on Friday afternoons. In addition, a drop box is available at the Pierpont Administrative Office on days when a representative is not available.
Located on the north side in the lower level of Pierpont Commons, the U-M Police Department/North Campus post provides security for the University. Call them in case of an emergency; they are trained for quick and informational responses. Call them any time to report a fire, crime, any suspicious circumstances or to report emergency maintenance problems at night or on the weekends.
