About

Pierpont Commons is the University of Michigan’s North Campus student union. Cheerfully bedecked with international flags and nestled near the woods of North Campus, Pierpont invites you to visit its shops, services, restaurants and large study spaces. Pierpont is bustling with activity and has some unusual attractions—an in-tune grand piano and a pool table, both of which are available for anyone to use. And, thanks to its large windows and high ceilings, it’s the perfect place to soak in the sunshine during the colder winter months.

Parking & Accessibility

Due to construction near Pierpont Commons, Lot NC27 will have limited parking. Additional parking can be found in the metered visitor lot behind the Walgreen Drama Center (1226 Murfin), which is next door to Pierpont.
